Le Festival du Bois French Culture Ontario French Curriculum

This unit describes the Festival du Bois which is a famous French festival in British Columbia. Activities include a reading page, a fill in the blank page ( 2 versions), a speaking activity using the menu from the festival, a website reading and writing activity where students get to explore the festival website, an activity where students get to design an outfit for the famous Festival en Plaid, puzzle pages, and finally an information page on the Franco-Colombian Flag. This unit aligns well with the grade 6 French Culture component of the Ontario Core French Curriculum. This festival can be compared to Le Festival du Voyageur (available in my store) as there are many similarities. Enjoy celebrating French culture with your students.
