Launching Literacy Stations
Description
We all feel the pressure to jump into literacy stations and guided reading as fast as we can because we want to start working with our students on reading skills. But it is well worth the time spent in the beginning to work on setting high expectations and put systems in place in your classroom that will last all year. This includes a presentation that will focus on the strategies and systems you can use to manage your classroom as well as how to keep all students engaged and on task.
Included:
-Station powerpoint slideshows that have embedded timers and sounds (multiple increments of time to suit your needs)
*Editable version as well!
Fonts used:
-Letter Magic
-KA Wonderful
-KG Be Still and Know
-Slideshow with pointers and management techniques to help your stations run smoothly (I have recorded myself talking through this slideshow to elaborate and go into more detail)
-A list of example activities to put in your literacy stations
This pack does not come with actual station activities, just the bones for how to set up your stations and getting them running smoothly.
