his Spanish lesson plan will help you and your students celebrate Mexican Independence Day with no stress! With a reading, vocabulary support, and auto-graded quiz this lesson is no prep and contains everything you need. All you have to do is upload the quiz to your LMS and print/upload the reading for your students.

The reading is probably most appropriate for intermediate level students, but it could work for novice learners with some guidance or heterogenous student groupings.

    • A project overview on Google Slides
    • A list of helpful verbs in present and past tense (not exhaustive, but a start!)
    • A mastery learning rubric
    • A pre-writing graphic organizer (reuse this resource with ANY writing assignment!)

**Disclaimer: This resource is designed for novice students who might not have learned about the differences with preterite and imperfect verbs. The helpful verbs list includes mostly preterite verbs with a few imperfect verbs. The slideshow is editable, so you can change out the verbs/tenses as you see fit.**
