What educators are saying

I absolutely loved this activity and so did my students! They were so engaged and it's a great way to review. I might have to take this idea and use it for some of my other units!

Description

Latin American Revolutions

This resource is appropriate for 6th-12th grades. Students use the provided reading to find the key terms and people. Similar to a crossword, the students match the description/statement to the correct term in the boxes. Magic Squares allow students to check their work for mistakes. They simply add up the numbers across each row and down each column. If all the columns ans rows have the same total, the answers are correct! Don't let your students know the magic number (the total) ahead of time. There also also over 80 different possibe combinations. This persuades students to simply read the document rather than guess random number combinations.

NOTE: While many of the products come with ESL/ELL levelling THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT AND IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR ALL LEVELS OF ESL STUDENTS. This can be used for some ESL students who are further along in their language aquisition. You can find the ESL Friendly version of this reading in my store.
