    This all about me resource includes 5 different themes! Themes include farm, ocean, school, superhero, and zoo! This End of the Year Memory Book includes 22 pages of activities (including autograph pages) and comes in black & white only so that the kids can color their own memory books and you can save on ink. The content of each memory book stays exactly the same, only the theme changes.

    This resource is put together in the suggested order of the pages but you are free to use as many or as few of the pages as desired and order them how you like as you know your students best. Half size format is included to save on ink and paper.

    Opinion Writing Prompts

    • Should the graded work or tests of students be posted in the classroom? Why or why not?
    • What materials (books, laptops, games, etc.) should schools provide for students to use at home? Why?
    • Should award ceremonies be held in front of the whole school? Is it fair to those who don’t get awards?
    • Should schools take summer breaks? Support your opinion with reasons.
    • Should students have to review school materials during the summer?

    Informative/Explanatory Writing Prompts

    • Choose some of your favorite memories from the school year. Describe them, telling why they were special to you.
    • Give advice to the student that will sit in your seat next year. Explain how to be successful in this grade level.
    • Teacher appreciation time! Tell how a teacher made an impact on your life. What did he/she do?
    • In what ways did you improve this year? Tell about the skills of which you are especially proud.
    • How should the last day of school be spent? Plan and explain the day’s activities for your class.

    Narrative Writing Prompts

    • Tell about a time when everyone was focused on you. How did it turn out? How did you feel? Did you grow or change?
    • Think of the funniest thing that happened to you this year. Write to tell about it.
    • Think of the classmate that was most helpful to you this year. Write to tell about the situations where this person helped.
    • Some things are not forgotten. What event happened to you this year that you will not forget? Write to tell about it.
    • What plans do you have for the coming summer? What plans would you like to have?

    3. End of the Year I Have Who Has Game

    This resource comes with 39 game cards as well as an answer key showing the proper sequence of the game. This end of year game is big enough to be used with a whole class, but can also be used for small group, centers, morning warm-up, etc. This I Have, Who Has? Game covers familiar situations that students encounter in elementary classrooms. It is intended to be a humorous look at school through the eyes of a child. This game meets standards under the Common Core speaking and listening category. It is a tool for teaching inferences as well as taking turns, listening, and respectful participation. We also threw in an idiom just for fun! Hope your year has been full of learning and fun!
