This bundle includes practice with reading comprehension passages, analogies and verbal reasoning questions in standardized test format.

I use these materials with my students to improve reading in a timed setting as well as prepare them for verbal reasoning style questions. Verbal reasoning is difficult for my students because it requires them to think about word relationships (analogies, word categories, shades of meaning...)

Once the language skills have been practiced in class, the short student worksheets make great bell ringers or homework assignments. The multiple choice format make the worksheets easy to grade.
