What educators are saying

This is a great way to assess my ELs! Sometimes it's difficult to find ways to grade them for listening and speaking.

Description

It can be very overwhelming figuring out how to differentiate for all the needs of ELLs, and to check with their progress on each of the 4 domains, but these generic rubrics will help to make that a breeze. Included is a generic rubric that can be used with any activity for speaking, listening, reading (fiction/non-fiction) and writing. You no longer have to wait until a formal assessment, but can gain great insight by using a listening rubric as you observe your student during a group discussion, or check in on their comprehension during a oral retell. These rubrics will help guide your decisions on how to support and differentiate in a matter of minutes for your ELLs!
