In this first unit your students will learn about:
Letters
Sounds
Rhymes
Word Families
High Frequency Words
There are activities for each day of the week. This is very hands on and visual for the students. I have always used a projector and a remote mouse. If you are lucky enough to have a smart board your students will be able to use it to manipulate items.
Since I started creating these flip charts, several years back, my students have performed very well in language arts and it keeps their eyes on the board.
I will have one for every week. I recommend the flip charts for kindergarten and first grade depending on the level of your students.
