What educators are saying
Description
Stretching out a word can be a difficult strategy for beginning writers. These pages encourage students to label and stretch out words, but they also include a phonics component so kids can apply the spelling patterns they learn.
⭐️⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️ “My students really enjoyed this activity because the word chosen were easy to sound out independently as they were able to tap the sounds with ease. I also like how the activity allowed them to work on sentence writing at the same time.” -Rebecca N.
These are included in my Labeling for Emergent Writers pack which is also on sale.
