This lab will help your students successfully perform a titration. Students are instructed on the proper methods for cleaning the burettes, performing the titration, and completing the calculations if the unknown acid concentration. •Properly read measurements off of burettes.
•Calculate the unknown concentration of an acid.
Materials your students will need:
•0.10 M NaOH standard solution
•unknown HCl solution
•phenolphthalein indicator
•50 mL burette
•burette clamp
•ring stand
•waste beaker
•125 mL Erlenmeyer flask
•(2) 100-150 mL beakers
