To do this activity successfully, your students will need to have prerequisite knowledge of preforming calculations with both the molarity and the dilution equations. Materials your students will need:
- 100 mL volumetric flask
- Plastic flask cap
- Cork stopper
- Beaker
- Parafilm
- 10.00 mL graduated cylinder
- Disposable pipettes
- Solid copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate
- Distilled water
- Balance
- Weigh dish
- Test tubes
- Test tube rack
