What educators are saying

I love that there is a teacher book and the smaller books for each student. The two versions are very helpful to reach all the different learners. The class collaboration book is a nice touch.
Some great back to school stories! I also like that it introduced kiddos to some writing where they can create their own classroom books.

This bundle of 5 French Back to School themed emergent readers is a great addition to your classroom library! Designed for beginning Immersion and Core French students, each reader contains predictable patterns, simple texts and common vocabulary.

⭐ The five readers included in this bundle are:

"Dans mon sac à dos" is perfect for "la rentrée" or any time you are working on French school vocabulary. The story features a backpack with number of classroom objects in it! And there is a fun surprise at the end!

The language structure practised in this French book is: Dans mon sac à dos, il y a . . .

This French emergent reader is a great addition to the classroom, especially during back to school time or anytime you feel your students need a refresher in using good manners. Included in this package are several ideas of practical actions that students can do to show good manners within the classroom.

This resource also includes a bonus poster set to create a bulletin board!

    3) J'adore mes souliers

Looking for a great way to practice French colours as well as the language structure "J'adore . . . "? This fun French Emergent Reader, "J'adore mes souliers", features children with every different colour of shoes!

    What's included in each resource?

    • Big Book (colour/grey-scale): I like to print this copy, laminate and bind together into a book. This becomes the book I use for "read aloud" and is also placed in our classroom library for students to enjoy over and over again.
    • Student 1/2 page version (grey-scale: Save paper while giving your students their own copy of the reader. There are two versions - one with illustrations and one without
    • Class Big Book (colour and grey-scale): Use the template to have students create their own page following the structure of the text. Bind all the pages together with one of the cover pages. Students love to see each other's work!

Each book in this bundle has a coordinating digital version that you can find here:
