La date en Français (set of files)

This is a whole set of files (3 PowerPoints, 1 Excel spreadsheet, 1 word document).
PowerPoint #1 = La date en Français
It shows the French format and the differences between the date in French and in English.
PowerPoint #2 = Les mois de l’année
12 slides (one for each month) with the etymology of each month, pictures, explanation and simple phonetic. (see my free spreadsheet on phonetic for download)
PowerPoint #3 = La date
This PowerPoint automatically updates itself from the Excel spreadsheet with the phonetic.
Yesterday’s date, today’s date and tomorrow’s date automatically update themselves in French with the simplified phonetic for each word. This is a great tool as a bell drill and to every day review the days of the week, numbers and the months. (I use this every day at the beginning of my classes.)
Excel spreadsheet = code date
This is where the PowerPoint is getting the info from.
Important: In order for the PowerPoint “La date” to work properly, you need to save both La date.pptx and code date.xlsx in the same folder.
Word document: word search
The words are the 7 days of the week and the 12 months of the year in French, with the simplified phonetic. The students keep it as a study guide.
