What educators are saying
Description
An engaging Spanish lesson about La Guerra Sucia in Argentina for intermediate level students. Teachers will lead a compelling La Guerra Sucia lesson with photos, vocabulary, and facts that students are always hooked on! Nine videos are included to help students understand the impact that the government had on the families, desaparecidos, and abuelas. This would be a perfect lesson prior to movies about La Guerra Sucia or the Dirty War.
This comprehensible input lesson includes elements of TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading & Storytelling) and comes with a teacher script and lots of photos and vocabulary that will teach the history of La Guerra Sucia in a way that students will be able to retell the story in their own words. It is a lesson my students remember for years to come and always speak highly of.
What does comprehensible input (CI) and TPRS mean? In my lessons, you will find a lot of images and vocab terms. The teacher must provide the input with a lot of repetition and questions to the students - to the point where it may seem redundant :) but will stick with your students.
