LEGO Robotics Starter BUNDLE

LEGO Robotics is a wonderful way to implement Computer Science at your school! Studies show that nationwide, we are experiencing a shortage of Computer Science graduates to fill the large number of today’s jobs that require a CS degree.

Included in this product is my LEGO Robotics is the Family Letter and Application, LEGO Robotics Student and Family Contract, and Welcome Letter.

Introduce students to this quickly growing field, starting with the Welcome Letter and Application. Send this letter out to students and families to explain what LEGO Robotics is, why it is important, and what it will look like at your school. The bottom part of this page is the application for club attendance, as there are typically more students interested than are able to participate. The bottom piece should be filled out by students and parents, cut off, and returned to school. Once students are chosen to participate, simply write their names on the Welcome Letter half sheet and send home.

Then, use the LEGO Robotics Student and Family Contract to hold team members and family members accountable for FLL rules, high standards of conduct, and attendance. The contract page requires student's initials (next to contract statements) and signature as well as a family member's initials (next to contract statements) and signature.
