Description
This download includes practice tests for the Innovative Assessment Program for The Giver by Lois Lowry. All sessions correspond to the ELA Guidebooks (2018) grade 7 The Giver unit. Answer keys and rubrics.
Session 1 focuses on reading comprehension of unit texts and a new text related to the unit (9 multiple choice, 1 constructed response, 60 minutes).
Session 2 focuses on reading comprehension and written expression to show understanding and synthesis of key knowledge built in the unit (1 essay, 60 minutes).
Session 3 focuses on reading comprehension of a text not related to the unit content (8 multiple choice, 20 minutes).
