"Kobuta Tanuki Kitsune Neko" Japanese/Romaji Sing-A-Long Slides

This fun song helps children learn the Japanese vocabulary for different types of animals. Students do not need to know how to read hiragana, (in fact, most students can easily sing these words without any prior Japanese experience) as all of the lyrics are written in romaji.

These PowerPoint slides are perfect visual aids for helping children learn the Japanese lyrics to the Japanese song, "Kobuta Tanuki Kitsune Neko." This activity is perfect as an interactive activity both in-person or virtually (complete with videos and singing activities). Students can further be engaged with the accompanying "Atama Kata Hiza Ashi" coloring sheet also available in my shop to extend the activity.

You can print out the pages to distribute to each individual child, or use the digital images/videos as a slideshow for presentation on screen. The pages can also be laminated for multiple uses. Alternatively, you could print on cardstock. The pages can also be printed smaller and pasted on index cards to help children practice the words as flashcards.
