This is a reading comprehension resource in Google Drive that can be completed fully online!
Students will read the Greek myth King Midas and the Golden Touch, answering questions at the end of each chapter. The answers can be typed right onto the screen in the text boxes provided. Most of the questions are open response. There is also a sequencing task and a multi-select question for which they highlight their choices.
Questions involve:
- character traits
- point of view
- making predictions
- using context clues to determine word meaning
- moral
- plot/story sequence
The Google Drive file includes the main resource file for students plus a separate file for you that includes answer keys.
This activity is perfect for independent practice during centers or as a distance-learning activity at home. Please note: The text is not part of the background image. This allows students who need accommodations to use a screen reader.
