Description
KINDNESS AND ALTRUISM - THE PACK OF POSITIVITY
Meaning is a pillar of wellbeing identified by Martin Seligman, psychologist, educator and promotor of positive psychology.
Meaning is a pillar of wellbeing, which is closely linked to the concept of kindness and altruism — having concern for the wellbeing of others.
This pillar of wellbeing defines our purpose and existence. It sets the tone in our lives and enables us to feel valued, inspired and connected.
What's included?
- an original poem appropriate for K-12, explaining exactly what it means to be kind! (I’m SUPER proud and excited about this one!)
- Hexagonal classroom BEE KIND display — acts of kindness are added when you have been:
- kind to yourself,
- kind to others,
- kind to the world,
- or when you’ve caught someone else being kind.
The Kindness Display can be used at a class level, school level or in the staffroom.
