Kindergarten/Year 1 Home Reading Log

This home reading log is designed to record student’s home reading habits. It contains a column to record the date, title of the reader, level of the reader, comment and number of books read. There is space for over 100 readers to be recorded. Milestones such as 10, 20, 30, 50, 75 and 100 books read are acknowledged and celebrated.
The log provides advice to parents on how to read with their child and expectations for home reading including how to fill out the log, importantly the comments column. It also provides student success criteria when reading at home.
The Publisher format allows teachers to change the font or days when readers need to be returned.
