Kindergarten U.S. President Project

Don't all kindergartners want to be the boss? This president project allows them to do just that! Kindergarten is a wonderful time to introduce important US. symbols, presidents, and history facts. This project will stretch your students' creative and higher level thinking as they create new laws, encourage their fellow classmates to vote for them, and associate important symbols with the United States. Throughout 23 lessons they will learn about US symbols, past/current presidents, important US holidays/events, the important job of a president, and much more!

I recently completed this with my group of kindergarten students and they absolutely loved it! I have no doubt your students will too. At the end of the unit we actually voted on a class president.
