1. Ontario FDK Curriculum Checklist

This curriculum checklist was created to help Ontario Kindergarten teachers with their long-range planning using the new FDK document (2016).

Included in the file:

• Overall & Specific Expectations in numerical order
• Corresponding four frames for each expectation
• Planning checklist has five columns and grouped two months at a time (Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec, Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/June). This allows you to track when you have covered an expectation, help you plan and allow you reflect after an inquiry which expectations that have been covered which will help you with report card writing!

2. Ontario FDK Curriculum At A Glance

This curriculum checklist was created to help Ontario Kindergarten teachers with their long-range planning and documenting using the new FDK document (2016). It is a great "cheat sheet" to have handy as a reference on your clipboard!

I keep a list like this one on my clipboard at all times to help with documenting student's learning "on the fly." It is especially useful for myself, my ECE, prep or supply teachers who may be in the room to help them have a "go to" reference of expectations so they can quickly reflect on how what they are documenting links to the curriculum. It helps us be accountable to the document and make it explicit for parents!

3. Ontario FDK Curriculum Focused At A Glance Tracking Sheets (non-fillable)

This is a complete set of the curriculum expectations for Ontario Full-Day Kindergarten (FDK) Program. Each page has the overall expectation and related specific expectations on the sheet to help you document using these “focused” at-a-glance tracking sheets. Each curriculum expectation is listed in numerical order.

Print which ever strand you need. Each sheet serves 12 students. Print multiple copies of the strand you are working on so that each child in your class gets their own box. Record your observations and even check the appropriate box to help you with report card writing: There is a space for small anecdotal observations or comments for each child in your class, if you desire to use it.

4. Class List of Anecdotal Observations

• Anecdotal comment pages for every expectation of the new Ontario FDK document. A .pdf allows you to handwrite your observations and a PowerPoint file allows you to fill in each students name.

• 34 Students per page, each page is double sided
• Overall and 1-4 specific expectations are located on each page.

5. Learning Story Documentation Templates: First Pack {ON FDK}

*fillable and non-fillable files included (names only) *

There are two sets of 3 different learning story templates provided within this product (6 files total). One is for handwriting on the documentation page and the other is fillable so that you can add written details. All files are in powerpoint and they are not editable to change the layout due to clipart and font Terms Of Use.

Expectations (2016) are included on the page as an easy reference which can be hand checked once printed, if desired. This product is designed to have small photos added or cute and pasted onto it. (Please note: You must have basic PowerPoint knowledge to know how to insert photos into the powerpoint in order to use this feature)

The editable template has fields to insert data for:

• Student name(s)
• Date
• Educator
• Learning story observations

6. Learning Story Documentation Templates: Third Pack {ON FDK} *non-fillable file only *

Have a photo or two and a story to make into a learning story? They will look amazing on these templates! 6 printable learning story templates, each with a different border background! These will look great displayed on your learning wall/bulletin board AND in your students learning portfolios! The back side of each page (all are and/or can be double sided) includes a checklist of all overall expectations and it's appropriate/relevant frame for you to "check off" when it is related to the learning story.
