There is a stronger focus on ELA and best practices for early literacy. A math-based review game with critical thinking questions have been added and the student mini-book "Families" offers students a resource to take home and practice both reading and discipline specific vocabulary. Lesson plans include traditional academic activities as well as more discussion and inquiry-based teaching activities.
