What educators are saying

Excellent resource that kept my students engaged and taught them different music concepts and ideas. Instructions are clear and the lessons were easy to implement and use with my classes. Thank you!
Really good resource. I was given a music position at my school for kindergarten this year and the resource saved me so much time and planning. Lessons are fairly flexible and you can modify them to fit your classroom.

Important Notes About This Product:

✓A projector is required to use the PowerPoint presentations.

✓A Smart Board is not required but is helpful when utilizing portions of this resource. If you do not have a Smart Board in your classroom, simply allow students to click the mouse at your computer to hear sounds and other interactive features throughout the resource (there are a small number of pages that include clickable objects).

✓ Lessons (and the resources) introduce students to 5 common classroom instruments. These instruments include: rhythm sticks, maracas, guiros, sand blocks, and hand drums. If you do not have these instruments in your classroom, consider introducing a different classroom instrument in place of the ones mentioned throughout the lessons. Two of the lessons also require that you have access to at least two or three xylophones. If you do not have access to xylophones, you will have to omit portions of these two lessons.

✓ Other materials needed to implement these lessons include: A piano, 3 buckets or trash cans, 3 bean bags or balls, 2 brown paper bags, and bubbles (enough for every student in the class).
