What educators are saying

I love these pages for interventions as well as homework. They also make great pages for emergency sub plans.
My students love this for morning work. Not all students are on the same level so it was good for differentiation.

    TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Margaret N. said "This has been such a productive way to start the school day, both last year before the shutdown and this year after our return to in-person school. I can print out different books (months) for different levels of ability and the students can practice the skills they need to master. It is helpful to have the students working on something in those busy moments when school starts. When the students first returned, students arrived very early or rather late. It was good to have some work for them to do. I also had the chance to interact with students individually as they worked, and see what they did well or needed to work on. I created a generic cover for the books that only identify the month with a single letter. That way all the books look almost identical and students don't compare books or work levels as much."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jessica S. said, "This packet is PERFECT! It's been awesome to use throughout the year. It's separated by the months, but it's easy to differentiate for students that may need more practice/are able to jump ahead to some other things. I also love how there is both math and ELA included. It gives parents an idea of what their children should know and encourages them to work with them when they can witness what they may need more help with. These handouts are easy to make front and back, I do one side math and the other ELA."

Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
