Description

This is an Excel document that helps you collect and analyze the results of CKLA Skills assessments for Kindergarten, Unit 6. In this unit, there are three components of the unit assessment: Letter Names, Rhyming Words, and whole-class Reading Consonant Clusters. Students who perform below level on the last assessment also do a one-on-one word-reading test with you.

In this tracker, enter the scores of the three or four assessments for each student, and two more tabs will automatically fill in:

the Data Dashboard tab, which has circle graphs and whole-class counts, and

(I'm excited about this), the Student Report tab, where you select a student from the drop-down menu and a one-page printable report will populate with his or her scores. I love this because it ties the tests back to specific standards and also because it's a great communication tool for data meetings, parent conferences, sharing with other staff, etc.

I also made a record sheet for Part C-2, the individual Reading Consonant Clusters test. This sheet will calculate in several ways: words correct, sounds correct, and consonant clusters correct - for easier analysis.

(Because this test is only administered to some students, I made just ten of these tabs. Right-click, select "Create a copy," and choose Move or Copy to create more.)

Please reach out to me with any questions, really (my email is in the tracker) and let me know how you like the new Student Report feature!
