This product is our Kinder ArtsAround Teacher Guide + Kinder Assessment Package (75 pgs).
Kinder ArtsAround has an in-depth Teacher’s Guide. Find more about how to implement our programming, what you need to know to get started, about ORFF and integration, plus resources for assessment. Lessons are ordered in such a way that skills are built over the course of the year. Most lessons require students to watch, listen, or hear stories using valuable media resources. For Kinder ArtsAround lessons, you will need a SmartBoard or LCD/Screen and a laptop to play YouTube videos and MP3 files. Resources to print or display are also included. Lessons require access to musical instruments. In Kindergarten classes, students will require a selection of percussion instruments, including drums. You will see instrument selections in the Kinder ArtsAround Teacher’s Guide.
Pitched instruments are needed so you can help students hear voices pitched to notes. A keyboard or piano along with a few Orff (xylophones)instruments really enhance programming. Again, see more about this in the Teacher’s Guide.

Kinder ArtsAround for Pre-K and K Students Kinder ArtsAround offers 38 - 40 lessons over the course of the school year, which includes integration in many capacities.
ArtsAround the World for Grades 1 – 3 (Lessons Coming Soon!) Primary grades together discover the world while taking an imaginary trip with an experienced Tour Guide (Teacher-in-role). All Primary grades visit the same country each month so they can share songs, playground games, stories, dramatizations, and dances, even speaking a few sentences to each other in the language of each country. Carefully selected short YouTube videos (media literacy) enhance the quick, active pace in every ATW lesson. There are 6-7 countries visited each year.
Junior ArtsAround for Grades 4 – 6 (Lessons Coming Soon!)
Each grade has different lessons and themes. Often connected to themes listed in the grade specific curriculum.
Intermediate ArtsAround for Grades 7 – 8 (Lessons Coming Soon!) Both Junior and Intermediate lessons have an emphasis in Drama, Music, Dance Movement and Literacies: Media, Social, Emotional, Physical and Cultural. Themes are integrated into Social Studies, Science, Character Education or Religion, as well.
