Advantages of this Kazzow Swat Game:

• It's "low prep" for you. Simply print the pages and laminate. After that, you can use them on the floor, a poster board, or your white board. There's almost nothing to cut out.

• Two size options from which you choose. Large letters (2 per page), for a whole class game and small letters (4 per page) for a great tabletop "slap" game in small spaces.

How To Play:

When the caller/teacher calls out a Hebrew letter, one student uses a wooden spoon or fly swatter to hit/swat the letter. Add extra excitement by having teams compete against each other, or compete against another class.

You could also number the pages, and have students draw a number from a container. Students would read the page or pages with those numbers. Because "Kazzow!" involves movement, students will automatically be more engaged and more motivated than when sitting at a desk, reading Hebrew from a book or worksheet.
