Kabuki Theater & Mask Project

This is a 18 slide Power Point that introduces students to Japanese Kabuki Theater. It contains a page that tells students about color representation of the make up the actors wear. There are 2 slides at the end that cover tips on making a paper mache Kabuki mask and a page that gives a brief outline of the project. This project should take 3 - 4 50 minute classes. This project was designed for a summer fun camp that focused on Japan. Students loved learning about Kabuki theater and making their own mask! I also have made brief Power Points that introduce students to Japan and Japanese words including greetings, basic numbers, colors, and weather.
