What educators are saying

This was incredibly helpful when looking at phonological processes for all my students to best decide which ones to target during their sessions.

Description

The Khan Lewis Phonological Analysis offers fantastic insight into a student's phonological processes, but I find the bulkiness of the paper form to be tortuous and time-consuming. There is also more insight to be gleaned from the Goldman-Fristoe Test of Articulation word list than provided in the KLPA form, such as almost complete phonetic and phonemic inventories. Using this form, I can complete a KLPA with inventory analysis in well under 20 minutes.

What I provide here is an Excel workbook that is easy to navigate and auto-calculates 1) % occurrence of phonological processes, 2) % occurrence of type of error (manner, place, voicing, omission), 3) phonemic inventory (initial sounds, medial sounds, final sounds), 4) phonetic inventory. Note that the GFTA/KLPA do not offer sufficient opportunities of all phones/phonemes to fully test for inventories; I may later add an upgrade with additional words to (informally) complete a full inventory.

I am new to TPT, so let me know if you want any changes!
