Junior Naturalist Nature Study - What is a Weed?

This Nature Study will cover what a weed is and is not, Students will also learn a few examples of common plants found across the United States that are usually identified as weeds; the dandelion, clover, and chickweed and why this may not be the case.

In addition to the lesson, you will find included a journal pages for each flower, a nature walk activity, with book and activity suggestions to learn more about the topic.

This unit has been designed to work for all ages.
