Description

The Daily Writing Prompts for June offer engaging and interesting writing practice for your students every day. They can be used during morning work, at writing stations, during writing instruction, and in various other ways to enhance student writing skills. They include interesting international and national holidays, monthly celebrations, birthdays of famous/notable people, and significant historical dates in the USA. You can take advantage of the editable digital/printable slides and task cards to create your own custom daily writing prompts. Listed as a 3rd-5th grade resource, our June Daily Writing Prompts were designed for 3rd-12th grade students. You will get a total of 84 different prompts for the month.

Designed to spark imagination and foster critical thinking, these prompts aim to inspire your students to express themselves through their writing. June features several holidays and events, such as:

Task Cards - Print, cut and laminate! Four writing prompts are included on each page. With these three simple steps you will have low-prep resources for your Writing Center or Writing Station in no time. Add a binder ring for easy hanging or portability.

Printable Pages - Each prompt is built into a printable page that provides lines for student responses. (You can choose whether to copy them in color or black & white.)

Projection Pages - Created in landscape mode, this format is perfect for whole class writing. You can easily integrate the prompt pages into your morning work routine or designated writing block. These PDFs can also be printed, laminated and placed into your Writing Center or Station.

Digital Pages - You can utilize Google Classroom™ to provide students with a digital copy of the daily writing prompt. These pages include the daily prompt with an editable text box where students can type their response. (We’ve provided directions to help you get started.)
