Juego de mesa - conversaciones de primavera is a conversation gameboard about spring designed for heritage speakers or advanced Spanish class. A perfect icebreaker to start the school year!

This is age-appropriate for both middle school and high school, but the questions are written for those who have proficiency in Spanish.

HOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE:

Students play "Rock, Paper, Scissors" to move along the gameboard. For this spring-themed game, rock is represented by a mushroom, scissors is represented by rainboots, and paper is represented by an umbrella. They advance along the gameboard 1 space if they win with mushroom, 2 spaces if they win with rainboots, and 3 spaces if they win with paper.

Students answer the question they land on. If they land on a flower they must go back to the beginning. The first one to reach the end wins.

You can have students switch partners in order to play multiple rounds.
