Jazz Musician of the Month Bundle

Looking for ways to integrate more listening lessons and jazz history into your general music class? This colorful “Musician of the Month" growing bundle focuses on jazz musicians. These activities can be used in any month you choose, or if you'd prefer, can be spread out over the year.

Each set in this bundle will include:

*Musician of the month bulletin board visuals: includes letters for “Musician of the month," Picture of the musician, U.S. map pointing to the musician’s state, Some of the musician’s best known performances, and information about their instrument or voice

*Listening lesson slideshows: Includes slides for three different performances, with embedded links to videos in YouTube. Also includes link to slideshows in Google Slides. (Note: The Miles Davis set only includes Google Slides, to avoid related titles with inappropriate text in YouTube.)

*Biography slideshow: Includes information about the musician’s childhood, musical background, and accomplishments. Also includes link to slideshow in Google Slides.

*Instrument or voice slideshow: Includes information about the musician’s instrument or voice. Also includes link to slideshow in Google Slides.

* Worksheet for listening response: Can be used with any recording of the musician

* Musician of the Month Maze Worksheets: Has a maze for students to complete, with three questions about the musician’s life. Includes color and black/white versions, with two different mazes, and keys

*Musician Flip Book: No prep printables for students to make their own flip book with information about the musician. No cutting required!
