Description

Students can sing this simple and fun song, Shiritori Uta (Word-Chain Song), in Japanese in the first class!

'Kobuta Tanuki Kitsune Neko' is a beloved Japanese Shiritori Uta.

Here is a version if you are not familiar with the song.
Kobuta Tanuki Kitsune Neko

This material is good for young beginning Japanese language learners.

Step-by-step instruction is attached both in English (2 pages) and Japanese (3 pages).

Goal:

*Learn 4 animal names in Japanese.
'Kobuta' (Baby/Small Pig), 'Tanuki' (Racoon), 'Kitsune' (Fox), Neko (Cat)

*Learn onomatopoeia representing each animal.
(This is my version, different from the link above.)

Pig - Bu Bu, Racoon - Pon Pon (the sound of hitting his stomach as a taiko drum)
Fox - Kon Kon, Cat - Myao

* This easy song gives students confidence and courage to speak/sing in Japanese.

日本語の指導書も添付されています。(3ページ)
