Japanese Culture Online Scavenger Hunt

In this fun activity, students will explore a website hosted by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to learn about Japan's history and culture! I am using this as part of a day-long celebration of Japan's traditional Children's Day (Tengo no Sekku), which is celebrated on May 5th every year. The site is fun, attractive, and well-written. Best of all, it's intended for classroom use, so the information and activities are all kid-friendly! The 10-question worksheet is designed to make students search for the needed information, so they will need to search almost every page. Some questions even require them to read more than one article to find the answer. Happy hunting!
