I use this as an introduction to Japan but it can be used in many different courses.

Starts with informational PowerPoint on Japan's Geography highlighting the ring of fire, archipelago, terrace farming and Korean cultural bridge (selective borrowing).

It is a great "Get out of your seat and learn" activity where kids will get hands on and interactive.

included is directions for different types of origami, the materials and pictures for each station, a blank map of Japan and a graphic organizer with china-korea-japan-selective borrowing.
