What educators are saying

My students love morning tubs. These are very engaging and they really enjoyed the different activities included.
These centers are so great for small group work! I use them as morning work activities. I love how simple they are to set up and how easily the students can work on them independently! Great resource!!

Description

Looking for a new way to start your day? The January kindergarten morning tubs are the perfect way to build academics, fine motor work, social skills, and PLAY into your kindergarten morning work routine!

The January Kindergarten morning tubs include 24 morning tubs with a variety of hands on literacy, math, and fine motor activities for your kindergarten students.

While these January morning work bins were created with morning tubs in mind, they would also be PERFECT for October literacy and math centers, early finisher activities, or some quiet exploration time.

The morning tubs just got a HUGE update! All new activities were added. Are you a fan of the old version of the January morning bins? Those are included too!

The Kindergarten Morning Tubs are also available in a $-SAVING bundle here: Morning Tubs for Kindergarten!

How can I manage the Kindergarten Morning Work Tubs?

There are 24 January morning work bins included, but many include multiple options and could easily be used in more than one morning tub! I know teachers who have had one tub per table, teachers who have paired up their students, and teachers who had one tub per student. Whatever works best for you and your students!

I Can cards are included to promote independence!

Will I need to buy a lot of materials for these Kindergarten morning work tubs?

No! I tried to create these with materials in mind that you already have in your classroom, but you could EASILY swap out my suggestion for something you already have! That's also a great way to make these centers new again - just add new manipulatives!

Did you include black and white versions of the morning work tubs?

Yes! These January morning work bins include a black and white version.

When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
