Description

This is a job skills and life skills activity for high school aged students. Works great in Career and Technical Education or Vocational Education settings. It provides a simulated networking event environment to allow students to practice the following career skills:

-speaking

-active listening

-social-emotional awareness

-setting specific communication skills

-body language

Next, students will complete a graphic organizer and participate in a teacher led discussion which will hone the following career skills:

-problem solving

-critical thinking

-cognitive flexibility

-future planning

Overall, this activity will assist students with soft skills and employability skills to make them more workforce ready.
