It's Time: Common Core Activities for Telling Time to the Hour and Half Hour

This unit is for learning to tell time to the hour and half hour. It contains a variety of activities that have been tested and loved by students! Included in the pack:

An I Have/Who Has game that incorporates words, digital clocks and analog clocks. If you don’t have exactly twenty-four students, assign buddies or let some students play with more than one card!

A “Math Around the Room” activity that gives students practice with the concept of one hour later.

A clock-labeling activity

Sets of cards for matching games that include digital clocks, analog clocks, and words... all to the hour and half hour. These can be used for memory games, flash cards, or buddy activities.

An adorable emergent mini-book with a story that follows a child throughout a day. Students can color the pages, practice reading, draw the numbers on an analog clock on each page, and add the numbers to a blank digital clock.
