Italian Emotions/Feelings (Gender Inclusive) Color Word Mat (2 pages)

For any proficiency level, but only for writing in Italian - These color word mats can be printed and put up on your classroom wall as a reminder for students, or they can be printed onto cardstock (or laminated) and put at student desks to help students write about how they are feeling (at the sentence level, not just word level) with the inclusive language asterisk that is currently in limited (but increasingly more frequent in print advertisements, for example) use in Italy. They can also be cut up and used as flash cards (I usually have students glue or tape them to index cards for sturdiness). These two pages are for students who identify as nonbinary or who simply want to create written posters, etc. in Italian using gender inclusive language. There are a few expressions that are technically not gendered ("Mi dispiace" but also "Sono felice") and so I have left those the way they are traditionally spoken/written.
