Islam & the Islamic Empires Unit Bundle with PowerPoint, Projects, and More

This zip folder contains all the materials I use for the Islamic Caliphate Unite in World History/AP World History (I teach both levels). There is a PowerPoint for the unit with a corresponding note sheet. There are fill in the blanks on one note sheet if you would like to have students use that to follow along any lecture or there is a completely filled in one if you need to provide a student with copies of notes.

There are 3 projects to chose from as I have done all. One is an academic poster, the other is a group PowerPoint creation/essay project, and finally there is a timeline project with answer key.

There are quick reads, or one page readings with questions.

Finally there is a test with an answer key and a study guide.

Major Areas Covered: Muhammad, Teachings of Islam, Abu Bakr, Sunni, Shiite, Umayyads, Abbasids, Golden Age and all the people associated with it, India's Muslim Empires (Delhi Sultanate and Mughal), Ottoman Empire and Safavid Empire.
