What educators are saying

My students loved doing research on a famous inventor. This resource was great with helping them complete the writing activity for the unit we were doing.
Awesome resource for learning about inventors! I went in and added points to the sections and used it as a grade!

Description

Our packet of research posters is the perfect tool for students to learn about famous inventors and their groundbreaking inventions. There are 29 "All About Inventors and their Inventions" posters with each one focusing on a different inventor and their invention.

**You will also like my inventor biography pack (8)- Click HERE

I have marked these posters for grades 3-5. Please click the preview button to help you make a better decision as to whether you think these posters will work for you and your class.

Grab your media specialist, get some books on each inventor, get your computers ready, and have fun learning about the different inventors and their inventions.

You can have the kids in the class research a different inventor Some will have to double up though because only 29 are included, but I have also included a sheet that can be used with any inventor.

This works great as a center activity, homework, partner activity, or however you want to use them.

On each poster you will find :

**place for student name

**Inventor's name and a black line image of the inventor

**fill in childhood/family/personal info.

**education

**awards or recognitions

**Invention and its purpose

**Date Invented

**Sketch It:- student sketch/coloring of the invention

**character trait of inventor

*Blank Poster for Any Inventor

OPTIONAL Writing Paper is included for each inventor too. You can have your students take the info. from the poster write about it in paragraph form. If students need more than one page, they can use the included themed sheet for the top page and staple any other pages behind it.

I have also included an 8.5x11 title poster that you could laminate and hang above the posters.

The posters look great hanging in the hallway or in the classroom on a bulletin board.

NOTE: Once you have displayed them, another option is to bind in order to make a class book. Use the title page I made as the cover for the book. What a great class project!! Kids will enjoy reading it for the rest of the year.

Thanks so much, as I always appreciate it when people stop by to look at my products.
