What educators are saying

I used this project as one of several in my year-long Research Methods high school course. This ended up being one of my students' favorite research projects of the year.

Description

Are you looking for an engaging way to research inventors and inventions? Do your students want to create their own inventions?

Students will participate in an invention exposition where they will plan, design and showcase their invention! However, before students can pitch their invention to a Shark or a Dragon, they must complete a variety of tasks, essentially the behind-the-scenes information they would not normally get to see that would have to be done before an actual pitch could be made.

What's included?
• Inventor research (20 inventors included)
• Accidental inventions
• Important Terms
• Million dollar inventions
• Project outline
• Editable templates

Assignment Objectives:
a) Develop critical thinking skills
b) Develop creative writing skills
