    Getting ready to study inventors and inventions? These high-interest informative nonfiction close reading passages and research writing activities will help your students learn about inventors and conduct research on an inventor of their choice!

    Included are 9, two-page articles to help your students understand and learn about a wide range of inventors and their inventions all while they gather important information as they read informational text.

    Close reading anchor charts are also included to help your students understand the text more deeply.

    These passages and the comprehension activities will have your students critically thinking and reflecting as they read high-interest science content within informational texts.

    Directions are clear and easy to understand for the research project and come in two layouts for students to either work at their own pace or work as a class step by step.
