Inventions and inventors NO PREP research project - 3 to 4 hour UNIT

A fun and engaging 3 to 4 hour unit my students loved.

TASK 1 - Look for information on the internet

Choose one invention and complete your poster / banner (both included). Can also be done in pairs / groups.

TASK 2 : 2 options

✔ OPTION 1 - Read and take notes

Choose some inventions you’d like to know about, read your

classmates’ posters/pennants and take notes (worksheet included).

✔ OPTION 2 - Oral presentation

Use your notes and talk about your invention.

Quiz your classmates at the end of your presentation! (worksheet provided).

TASK 3 – Pair work - GAME

Let’s play « What am I? »(projectable pdf provided).

TASK 4 – Group work

« What would we do without… » slideshow.

TASK 5 - Imagine...

Present "your world" to your classmates !
