What educators are saying

This resource was helpful for my students. Some of the slides were great and others were okay. Not all of them held my students' attention.

Description

This PPT covers a list of invasive species found in the United States. Animals such as the nutria, Zebra mussel, and more. I created this lesson for a tenth grade environmental class, however, the lesson is short and can be used for any grade. I brought in some samples of invasive V.S native plants and discussed how NOT ALL NON_NATIVE PLANTS ARE INVASIVE. This lesson took about 90 min and is filled with videos from youtube and pictures to help guide students visually. Be sure to download the FREE follow along note taking work sheet, a movie questionnaire for the purple martins video, and a lesson plan for the PPT!
