In addition to math, I now teach an introduction to digital photography class to middle school students! We use Canon Rebel t6 DSLRs but this information also applies to the t7. This Google Slides presentation includes 39 slides that cover everything from the basics (turning on the camera, loading the battery and memory card, and shooting in Auto mode) to more advanced settings including Tv mode, P mode, Av mode, and Manual mode. Using colorful images and easy-to-understand text, this presentation explains the meaning of and how to adjust aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation. It's really everything you need to get started teaching a beginning photo class that uses these cameras. If you are not confident with how to use Rebels or how to show others, this is for you. There is a lot of information and even though it is divided into 6 lessons, students will need lots of time to practice after each one. This resource is completely editable.
