Introduction to Feelings digital counseling lesson (autumn)

This digital “Fall into Feelings” lesson is geared to primary elementary students for use on Google ™ Slides. Choose your instructional style (whole group, independent in your Google ™ Classroom, or one on one with a student) and your technology device! Students will be exposed to various feelings vocabulary, and learn that all emotions are okay to experience. The lesson also provides scenarios to practice feelings identification and expression using examples in the “I feel… when…” format. This lesson encourages student reflection, and provides multiple opportunities for discussion to explore student perspective on emotions. A supplemental, hard copy “Lift the Flap” drawing activity is also included to enhance the lesson.

This lesson includes:

• Lesson plan (includes ASCA standards alignment, objectives, materials list, procedure, and suggested data measures for perception data)
