Introduction to European Middle Ages - Photo Analysis (No Prep!)

This is a great no prep introductory activity that is done as a class by analyzing four different pictures together. Through this activity, students will gain a general understanding of the GRAPES (geography, religion, achievements, politics, economics, social classes) of Medieval Europe. It is a simple, yet VERY effective intro lesson that is always hit with my classes! All you need is a working computer to run the slide show, and a blank sheet of paper and something to write with for the students!

This is a Google Slides presentation that includes: a detailed teacher instruction slide, notes added in the "speaker notes" section of each slide to help guide you in your discussion with the class, and reflection questions for the students at the end!
